Join James Tate Hill and his agent and fellow author Eric Smith for a publication-day discussion of his debut memoir, Blind Man’s Bluff (W. W. Norton). In addition to the book’s themes of disability and self-acceptance, the two will talk candidly about the writing process, the road to publication, and the author-agent relationship. This event will conclude with an audience Q&A.
James Tate Hill is the author of a memoir, Blind Man’s Bluff (W. W. Norton, 2021). In 2015, his fiction debut, Academy Gothic, won the Nilsen Literary Prize for a First Novel. He serves as fiction editor for Monkeybicycle and contributing editor at Literary Hub, where he writes a monthly audiobooks column. James also teaches Fiction & Nonfiction workshops.
Eric Smith is a Young Adult author and literary agent with P.S. Literary living in Philadelphia. His latest novel, Don’t Read the Comments, was published by Inkyard Press in January…
